Using your phone's GPS system, Spott allows users with the idea to browse by movie/show or their location to understand interesting information about that movie, show, or actors.
For example, Stapleton International Airport (now Denver IA) was edinburgh airport in the movie "Die Hard 2" with Bruce Willis. Up until recently, I had no idea how the hotel inside the movie "Dumb and Dumber" been the Stanley Hotel, that was also the inspiration and setting for Stephen King's popular book and movie, "The Shining".
Along with giving users the opportunity to see their town in a whole new way, you can also purchase movies with the app, plus you'll be able to send in your own personal photo coming from a famous locale locally.
The interface for Spott is easy to manuever around - it is possible to choose movies or shows by title, location, or movies which might be near you. Obviously the nearby feature is the better, especially if you're traveling or recently moved. As noted, movie locations near my new capital of scotland- Denver as well as the state of Colorado are pretty popular.

There is also downsides, for example actor listings, which might be meh at best, however, that's where the Spotters thing is available in. Too bad this app didn't appear before I moved.
As a show and TV fan who occurs love trivia, this is actually a pretty good app to have in case you've got an Android phone. Definitely the highlight of the app is usually to view a wide selection of locations of various film scenes, though I think many people will be considering where their hometown or current town factors in numerous movies and shows.
A disappointment offers some areas miss, that may be annoying for users who know a specific movie or show was filmed of their neck with the woods. But to counter this, users can supply images and upload these to Spott. This is actually a great social interaction that gets fans involved since they proudly exhibit their cities and states.
I think a large let down is the fact that this app isn't free; with merely a small amount of information, this should be a free app that gets upgraded to cover more expenses (like the ability to buy and download movies).
